Terri Wolfe, OTR/L, CHT, Director, Hand and Upper Body Rehabilitation Center
Terri L. Wolfe graduated from Ohio State University in 1977 and has been a licensed Occupational Therapist for over 42 years. She is a past President and a Founding Member of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), and has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 1991. Terri holds numerous professional memberships, positions and honors, and is a regular presenter at national meetings of ASHT and both the Pennsylvania and American Occupational Therapy Associations. Passionate about delivering the most effective treatments for patients in a caring, compassionate environment, she loves to get patients back to work and play as quickly as possible. Terri’s interests include her family, animals, Lake Erie, sports and health. “Love that scarlet and gray!”
Katie Pisano, OTR/L, CHT
Katie Pisano is a 2008 graduate of Gannon University's Masters program for Occupational Therapy. Born and raised in Erie, PA, she spent five years after college employed at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago working primarily with individuals recovering from stroke and traumatic brain injury. She completed the Evelyn J. Mackin Hand Therapy Fellowship through the Philadelphia Hand Center in 2013 before moving back to her hometown, and received her Certified Hand Therapy designation in 2015. Most recently she has been trained in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MTD). Katie's areas of interest include hand fracture management, pain management, tendon injuries, custom splinting and neurological upper extremity recovery. Outside of work, Katie enjoys running, yoga and Lake Erie.
Megan Delsandro, OTR/L, CHT
Megan is a licensed Occupational Therapist. She was born and raised in Erie, PA, and graduated from Gannon University in 2003 with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. She began working at Hand and Upper Body Rehabilitation upon graduation, and in November 2009 received her Certification in Hand Therapy. Megan’s areas of interest in the clinic include custom splinting, treating the upper extremity: hand, wrist and elbow, and performing functional capacity evaluations. She currently works part-time so she can spend time at home with her three children.
Dave Austin, OTR/L, CHT
Dave Austin is a 2008 graduate from Gannon University with a Masters Degree in Science focused in Occupational Therapy. Dave was originally a patient at Hand and Upper Body Rehab after sustaining an extensor tendon injury and surgical repair. After several months of therapy and a full recovery, his experience at HUB inspired him to go back to college and pursue becoming a Certified Hand Therapist. Dave became a Board-Certified Hand Therapist in 2014. Most recently he has been fully trained in McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MTD). He is most interested in treatment of shoulder and cervical injuries as well as mallet fingers. Dave loves spending time traveling with his wife and children, coaching travel baseball, and cheering on his children who swim competitively.
Donna Mahoney, PT, CHT
Donna Mahoney received her Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University, Chicago, IL in 1977. Prior to the Hand and Upper Body Rehabilitation Center, she worked in pediatrics in Chicago, New York City, and Erie. Donna has worked at Hand and Upper Body Rehabilitation since 1989 and received her Certified Hand Therapy designation in 1996. Her special areas of interest include functional capacity evaluations and wrist fractures. Outside of work she enjoys reading, golfing and traveling with her husband.
Diane Feltmeyer, PT/MPT
Diane Feltmeyer is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio, and received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994. Diane has been specializing in outpatient Physical Therapy in Orthopedics for over 25 years, with specific areas of interest in neck and shoulder therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her husband and two children.
Matt Hilliard, OTR/L, CHT
Matthew Hilliard graduated from Gannon University in 2015 with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. He has been with the Hand and Upper Body Rehabilitation Center since 2018. Prior, he spent three years practicing therapy in the state of Texas at Hand Therapy Services of Corpus Christi. He became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2019 after returning to his hometown of Erie. His special interests include crush injuries, rehabilitating injured workers, and getting athletes back to their sports. Outside of therapy, he is an outdoor enthusiast and can often be spotted photographing land and sea adventures at National and State Parks.
